Just a bit of satisfying pattern matching… I was Just a bit of satisfying pattern matching…
I was trying to be as economical as possible with my fabric, and the checks were melting my brain. So I didn’t manage to get the pattern matching as good all over the jacket, but I don’t think it matters.
I also managed to keep enough fabric for another small project.
Do you follow the pattern lay instructions or just fit it in how you like?
I like to spend my weekends with Robin hunting for I like to spend my weekends with Robin hunting for treasure on the beach, basking in beautiful nature. Brands like @analuisany are helping preserve the world around us with their sustainable practices.
This latest collection uses 100% certified GRS recycled glass as the main component. Every kg of recycled glass displaces the need to extract 1.2 kg of virgin raw materials. Every 10 percent of recycled glass used in production results in an approximate 5 percent reduction in carbon emissions and energy savings of about 3 percent.

Not only are they reducing carbon emissions, and cleaning up our planet they’ve also created some stunning pieces. I’m wearing the Emily earrings and the Maisie ring, the beautiful blue collar reminds me of the ocean.
If you’re interested in anything from the new collection or any of their other pieces you can use code RACCOONTAIL20 for 20% off

I really loved making this, its a lovely quick sew as it's unlined and boxy shape.
I used this lovely check cotton twill from @fabricgodmother which I can now see blends into my kitchen wall colour.

I think I should have picked a wall colour that worked better as a photography background, what do you think?

Do you prefer the hot or cold seasons?
I’m a massive fan of period pants, I pretty much I’m a massive fan of period pants, I pretty much exclusively use them. They were also brilliant postpartum.

I have tried a few brands and definitely have my favourites. So when @bodyformuk reached out to me to try out their new pants I was excited to see what they’d be like.

I chose the high waisted style, as I find them much more comfortable. Although I sized up they were a little snug on the legs.
I also prefer my pants cotton and these were polyamide but it was mostly recycled and it was sustainable OEKO-TEX.

Overall they worked brilliantly and if more mainstream brands start bringing out sustainable options like this, it can only be positive.
AD This #WardrobeAuditWednesday I have teamed up w AD This #WardrobeAuditWednesday I have teamed up with @owni.app to show you how I use their digital wardrobe feature to get the most out of my clothes

Often, I end up buying or making new clothes because I’ve totally forgotten what I already have in my wardrobe. Having a digital record of my purchases with OWNI has been brilliant as it allows me to shop my wardrobe and come up with new outfit ideas. Now, I can get more wears out of my clothes and maximise their use.

OWNI are also paired with loads of sustainable brands and have a secondhand marketplace, so you can make more considered choices when adding to your digital wardrobe. Anything you buy via OWNI or their partner brands is automatically added to your online wardrobe, so you don’t have to spend time uploading those items yourself!
